COOPERATION WITH THE UN

Founded within the organization of İstanbul Chamber of Commerce (ICOC) in 1990, in cooperation with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO); TSPX has been matching its members with the world’s largest international and Turkish industrialists for procurement and cooperation purposes since 2003.

BRINGING 30 LEADING INDUSTRIALISTS EACH YEAR

The exchange on average brings 30 global industrialists to İstanbul, Turkey each year, which enables local subcontractors to introduce themselves and establish cooperation for production and solution partnership purposes. Corporations such as Türk Traktör, Anadolu Isuzu, Arçelik, Bosch, TAI, Siemens, Hitachi and Emerson have been and remain to be the regulars of the Supplier Days events organized by TSPX.

3,500 SUBCTONTRACTOR MEMBERS

TSPX, which also fulfills requests of national and international industrialists for bilateral meetings, organizes Supplier Days, where businesses are offered the opportunity to have one-on-one contacts with subcontractors and solution partners. The exchange, which operates to enable its members to gain access to overseas markets and grow their export volumes, offers these services on a free of charge basis. TSPX’s database has 3 thousand 500 subcontractors and solution partners nationwide.

EXCHANGE’S DATABASE

TSPX’s database, which has been created as a result of extensive surveys and studies regarding subcontractors, is a comprehensive database, in which the respective industries, scopes of operations, product ranges and production processes of the members are classified, using the internationally recognized codes (NACE, ECC-A and EEC-B).

EXPORTERS ACCOUNT FOR 91 PERCENT

Some 91 percent of TSPX’s members are exporters, which sell 40 percent of their production to European countries. The members’ second most frequent export destination is Asia, which is followed by Africa, North America, South America and Australia, respectively.

75 PERCENT OF DEMAND IS FROM ABROAD

TSPX continues matching the demands from national and international global industrialists with the supplies of its respective members. Some 75 percent of the demands filed with TSPX, which matches nearly 3 thousand 500 demands, originate from overseas.
