The new investments will see a picture where Dubai World Central - Al Maktoum International Airport boasts the largest passenger capacity, with the ability to serve 200 million passengers per year, followed by the new airport to be built in Istanbul, with a passenger capacity of 150 million. Beijing Daxing Airport will increase its capacity to 130 million, while Mexico Airport and Singapore Changi Airport will both see 120 million, followed by a further 100 million potential passengers served by Hong Kong Airport. The data available reveals that in the period 2013-2014, Dubai saw 6 percent growth in the number of passengers served, while the comparable figure in Istanbul grew by 11 percent. The new airport of Istanbul will accommodate flights to more than 350 destinations.
